Taylor Swift Private jet backlash controversies

The Pennsylvania native faced backlash from critics regarding the carbon footprint of his private jet.

He was accused of polluting the Earth by flying 170 times in his private jet between January 1 and July 29, according to The Yard, 

a sustainability marketing agency that prides itself on "cutting-edge data and analysis".

In research collected by The Yard to reveal "which celebrities are the worst private jet CO2 emissions offenders," 

the Swift racks up more than 22,000 minutes in the air or the equivalent of 16 days.

However, a representative for Swift said, "Taylor's jet is regularly loaned out to other individuals. 

According to TMZ, attributing most or all of these trips to her is incorrect."
