Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa was taken by ambulance to

a Cincinnati-area hospital after suffering head and neck injuries during

Thursday's game against the Cincinnati Bengals. Tagovailoa was ejected

from the game, always conscious and his limbs fully mobile.

The quarterback injury occurred in the second quarter and was released about

six minutes into the first half by Cincinnati's defensive tackle Josh Tupou,

who appeared to be thrown onto the turf and hit in the back of

the head. In a terrifying sight, Tagovailoa lay on the ground

with his arms outstretched and his fingers twisted.

This is like a boxer or fighter after a knockout known as fencing his reaction.
